POOL IN SCHOOLS! Thank you to Chris for give us a opportunity in the  pool , thank to erveryone how building the pool I love it .It was fantastic it fun and thank to Mr j ,Mr Malley for look after it or else we woudn’t came back the pool was a mess.


Water safety was cool treding water , life jacket , floating  and creat a rarft.You know why we learnt that ? becuase if we were stuck in sea what woud you do .

All the Manaiakalani schools tuned in to watch awesome moviesand fantastic speeches made by teachers and kids. Room 13 kids made 7 movies but only two were chosen. And when Iisa and when the time came for me and Iisa to present I was confidence and keen as never before.

Alma

On one snowy day a little girl named Alma skipped care free around the village. She made her way through the narrow alleyways, around the the three story houses and stopped at a signature board and wrote Alma. It  was a tradition ,whoever turns 9 they have to write their name on  the board ,(I know it is kind of freaky).

Looking behind her, she saw a toy that looked just like her. Alma walked forward slowly until she got to the doll shop window. She looked back at the signature  board and just as she looked back the doll disappeared..

Alma walked over to the door and tried to open it, but it couldn’t work. Angrily, she made a snow ball and chucked it at the door and stomped away. A few steps away from the doll shop, and the door opened.  Alma walked back opening the door a bit more. Pushing and shoving her way she got into the scary shop .

Alma saw the doll on a table and  crept closer and closer until she kicked a small boy on a bike. Alma picked him up put him back on the ground and he began pedalling towards the door. He looked as if he was going to  escape.  But the the toy’s plan didn’t work. Alma looked back at towards her doll but it had vanished just like that.

Looked from shelf to shelf, Alma finally  saw the doll she wanted. It was on the fourth shelf, fifth row As she reached out to grab it, Alma touched it’s face and by magic she vanished into the doll.

Paula's Charlie and the golden ticket

 Walking home from school Charlie manage to find a fifty pence in the drain. Charlie  walked over to the nearest shop and bought a Scrumdidlyumptious .
When he received the bar he wolfed the chocolate down his throat, he  gave the 50 pence and he got his change. Walking out of the shop, he turned back and said to the shopkeeper “Can I have one more wonka bar please?“ “Yes why not “ the shopkeeper replied “It’s for my grandpa Joe “ Charlie replied .



Charlie walked out of the shop and saw people running up and down holding newspapers. Charlie heard the news the fifth ticket was a fake so he walked over to an old building and ripped opened his chocolate. He took a little bit of the and the he pulled off a little bit more and then he found the last golden ticket .

So he closed it again as fast as he could as he didn’t believe that he had got the fifth ticket. Charlie gave himself a big old grin.



A old lady from the jostling crowd pulled him by the hand and took Charlie towards all the people. People pushed  and shoved to see the golden ticket but the shopkeeper pulled Charlie out of the mess and told him “Run Charlie. Run home and tell your Grandpa Joe  about the good news.”

Wacked at the beach.

It was a sunny day, me and some friends decided to go to the beach.

When we got there we saw a surfing festival. We were like the best surfers on the island and we would like to go and win the cup, so we entered the competition.

Dominic went first ,there was something weird about him. He turned right, behind the cliff while we all went left. No one could see him anymore.

After a while he came back and told me and my mates creepy story.He said that he almost got whacked near the cliff by a tail shaped shark.

I was too scared after Dom’s story to think. I was not so sure about where to go because I didn’t want to get hurt like Dominic.

Suddenly I saw the fattest tailed shaped shark  coming towards my face . My enemy was mine  to hurt but sadly I lost.

I woke up at the doctors “Hi its Dominic “ I knew something was wrong with me so I tried to fix my self but nothing happened. I tried to call my brother Kenji but there was no phone.

I heard footsteps coming towards my room and it was my big brother Kenji he knew what was the problem and 5 months after that I was told not to go to the beach - but I didn’t listened.



 

Narrative

It was halloween and me and my brother went out to the neighborhood to get some lollies. A few hours later we had managed to gather up a ton of lollies. My brother snatched the bucket madly and yelled at me “Give it” “No” I replied madly. Fine, can I have a few” I grinned at him .He gave me some and said “Why are grinning?” I replied “I have no idea.”I could hear my mum from across the street saying “Come over here.”\

Flooded

Hi I'm Dominic and I'm Thomas we are friends that look like cousins, but we treat each other like brothers. We like to do stuff together. But Dominic likes to do sensible thinsg he doesn't climb cliffs he will do stuff that doesn't harm him .  





“Thomas?” "yes" he replied “Can you jump off that brick for me?” I tried to persuade him “But the city has flooded.” DOminic was scared.  “Just jump into the water.” I commanded him “No! My nana is watching please do not do this to your friend.”
I then invited everyone in the city of Brazil to gather around to watch me jump.
I took a deep breath and jumped. My legs stretched out wide and my arms were in the air, I knew I would land on my stomach. BOOM!I knew I was badly injured. My eyes blacked out and my lungs burst. I heard Thomas yelling at and picked me up and apologizing to me .



My big brother Junior is a doctor .Junior figured out the problem and took me to the hospital . That was rare experience I had  and I will not do that again.

Room 13 had toys that they had to say so Miss King opened a document and she route it  down on the document.I was surprised at all the toys they new .My mine was thinking about toys but I had to think about what is a toy?A toy is somthing play with that is what I think it is.
